Incidently, the comic-book anti-heroine, Tank Girl, originated in England and abides there, I believe, when she’s not knocking-about the desert-y future in her cling-clanging rolling abode…

Please help me. I bought a copy of “For The Queen of My Buffalos” in 1980, possibly very early 1981, at the Defense Information School in Ft.Ben Harrison from Clyde Collins. I even heard him sing once. I carried it for all these years, reading, quoting it for friends, and it was tragically lost by bulldozer. Mine was autographed “Howdy Roger, Rawclyde 1st edition” (The first edition was my idea, because he had a suitcase of them he printed himself) Anyway, I NEED another copy. I’ll pay whatever. This haunts me. I’m not being facetious . The book was important to me. komula@outlook.com

Please try. It was one of my treasures. A reminder of happy times. It was great to see your stuff online. I’ll spread the word.

      Thank you, sir!

I happen to have one copy of For The Queen Of My Buffalos in my pack in the mission where I’m presently abiding. I don’t think I can let it go… Maybe later, after I have all the pieces in it downloaded… But I don’t know when I’m going to do that… I don’t know if you’d want this copy or not ~ I mean, like, it’s scotch-taped together…

The Wild Women In The Borderlands Of My Mind short story collection, which is linked to The Code Room here, has in it some of the songs from For The Queen Of My Buffalos…

Three songs from the book are right here in the code room…

      Ain’t that somethin’…

The post “The Road Princess and Eternity,” August 9th 2011, is where Jackie, the “Evil Poet,” introduced me to Tank Girl, who seemed a fine companion for a ficitonal character o’ mine named Road.

Tank Girl has websites too, you know, just in case you want to revisit your childhood.

    Hey Clyde,
I really hope that you’ll be able to make it back for the BS reunion. I know for me, it would be great to see you again.
